In 1902 zag de voetbalclub Norwich City FC voor het eerst het levenslicht. De thuisbasis Carrow Road is sinds de opening in 1935 de arena "The Canaries Yellows". Norwich heeft sinds 1907 geel en groen als tenuekleuren in huis. In verband met het 100-jarig bestaan van de club mochten de supporters stemmen op de meest memorabele mensen voor de club, waar onder andere de Schotse doelman Bryan Gunn een populaire keuze werd voor zijn inspanningen.
