Rimini

The Italian coastal city of Rimini is located in the northeastern part of the country, just outside San Marino. This is a popular destination for both foreign and domestic tourists. The beaches of the Adriatic Sea attract millions of people every year. The best time to go here is between May-Sep and the warmest is in July-Aug with about 30 degrees in average temperature.

But Rimini is so much more than just sun and swimming. The city has a lot to offer in terms of culture and entertainment. Historic sites and monuments in symbiosis with new architecture and modern art. We at GO Sport Travel warmly recommend the cozy city!

Attractions in the city

The Air Force Museum Museo Dell’Aviazione is located on the outskirts of Rimini. The museum was inaugurated in 1995 and has almost 100,000 km2 of exhibition space. Here you can see over 50 aircraft, an exhibition of uniforms through the ages and a photo exhibition.

For the adventurous, we recommend a visit to the adventure park Skypark Parco Avventura. Here, sports and entertainment are mixed in close contact with nature. There are a variety of activities to choose from, such as Sky Jump, climbing, obstacle courses and archery, etc. There is something for everyone, big and small.

Arco D’augusto (Arch of Augustus), is a landmark built in 27 BC. This was built in honor of the then emperor Augustus. Originally, a statue of the emperor stood on top of the gate but was replaced in the Middle Ages by pinnacles. The arch is in surprisingly good condition for its age and is well worth a visit.
