1913 The Philips Sport Vereniging Eindhoven football club, better known as PSV Eindhoven, is formed. The name comes from the electronics group Philips, which then became a club for the workers at the company of the same name. It is therefore not entirely unpredictable that the name of the arena is Philips Stadium with a capacity of 36,500 people. The team is based in the city of Eindhoven in the southern Netherlands. The club's colors are red and white, which is also reflected in the team's match jerseys.
