FCSB is a football club from the city of Bucharest in southeastern Romania. The club was founded in 1947, then under the name ASA Bucuresti and between 2003-2017 had the name FC Steaua Bucuresti.
The club has since the start played in the country's highest division Liga I and has a lot of league wins and cup wins on the merit list. The team plays its home matches at Arena Nationala, which is also the arena for the Romanian national team. The arena, which was inaugurated in 2011, is the country's largest and has an audience capacity of over 55,000 spectators.
