Tourist attractions in the city

Head to Marienplatz, the heart of the old town. There is the opportunity to see St. Stephen's Church, the old town hall and the carillon in the new town hall.

Food and drinks in Munich

In Munich, the Hofbräuhaus is the most famous since the 16th century. Munich's oldest restaurant dating from the 15th century is called Hundskugel and is located on Hotterstrasse 9.

Travel to Munich

Munich's location in southern Germany means that it is close to making a trip to the Alps, for hiking and skiing. Getting to Munich is easy, several airlines fly from Scandinavia. Munich International Airport (MUC) is one of Europe's largest airports. With S-Bahn lines from the airport, it takes 40 minutes to get to the city center.

If you prefer to travel by train than plane, there is also the possibility from the Scandinavian countries.
