The club had its heyday around the 1950s and where the team won the league 3 times as well as some other titles such as the FA Cup and the League Cup.

Wolverhampton's match kits are black trousers and orange jerseys with a club badge that is a wolf's head. Their biggest rival is West Bromwich which is next door to Wolverhampton. The teams have usually belonged to the same league and the matches are usually called the Black Country derby.
