Newcastle United FC was founded in 1892 when two of the city's clubs merged, they felt that the city was too small for two competing clubs. Since then, the black-and-white striped club has played at the St James' Park, with room for about 52,000 spectators.
The club's nickname is The Magpies or The Toon and before their home matches, the players march onto the pitch to the tunes of Mark Knopfler's song "Going Home".

At the beginning of the 20th century, the club won a lot of titles. After the two world wars, there where relegations in the league system, but the club was patiently built up with its own products and some expensive signings. This gave the club and the supporters new success to rejoice over during the 1950s and then also achieve success in Europe, by taking home the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup 1969 (the predecessor to the UEFA Cup).
In the 90s, the club has had mixed successes and has been close to both Premier League and FA Cup titles, but unfortunately always stumbled on the finish line.
Despite the lack of titles, Newcastle United have always had great footballers to show. Players like Jackie Milburn, Jimmy Lawrence, Bryan Robson, Peter Beardsley, Les Ferdinand, Alan Shearer, David Ginola, Faustino Asprilla and Shay Given. The legends of football, in the black and white jersey.
Of course, we at GO Sport Travel ensure that you can experience your favorite team Newcastle United live at St James' Park. As a customer with us, you can easily choose which football tickets you want. If you want a complete football trip, you can also choose between a number of different hotels that we ourselves have carefully selected. In addition to this, we are happy to help with other options. You just tell us what wishes you have and we will look into what is possible.
Above you see all Newcastle United's matches where we offer official match tickets and football packages. If it is a match that is missing from the list, you are welcome to contact us. Just because the match is not included does not mean that we can arrange football tickets and football trips there. Should you also want to book another football match the same weekend, we will of course help you with the transport between the two different cities.
Submit your request or booking and one of our experienced employees will contact you to answer questions and send over a proposal as soon as possible.
We look forward to hearing from you, whether it's just official football tickets, a hotel package or a complete football trip!
