Derby County FC play their home games at Pride Park Stadium. Derby County has a couple of different nicknames with one of the most common being "The Rams". Derby County FC was founded in 1884, they have belonged to the two highest leagues since their existence. Derby FC County FC have won the top leagues in 1971/72 and 1974/75 which was their most successful period which was also crowned with semi-final games in the European Cup for champions.

Many talented players have played there over the years, but the most well-known is Wayne Rooney, who ended his playing career in Derby and is currently the head coach of Derby "The Rams".
