AFC Bournemouth, also known as ”The Cherries”, is an English football club founded in 1899. The team was named Boscombe FC when it was founded but changed its name to Bournemouth and Boscombe AFC in 1923. In the early 1970s the club changed its name to the current AFC Bournemouth.
The Vitality Stadium is located at Kings Park in Bournemouth and has been the club’s home arena since its inauguration in 1910. The arena holds approximately 11,500 spectators. The club’s colors are in black and red.
