Juventus FC - History

The prestigious club was formed on November 1, 1897 by some students from Massimo D'Azeglio Lyceum, and won a predecessor to the Italian league title as early as 1905.

A founding in student rooms transitioned to the industry board room when the Fiat family Agnelli took over the club in 1923.

The clubs connection to the car company helped many of the players as they first played for the club their entire career and when retirement came they started working at Fiat. In addition to the relationship with Fiat, the club was very clear that all their players should have short hair, a rule that remained during most of the 20th century.
