Middlesbrough FC is an English football club founded in 1876 and plays its home games at Riverside Stadium, with room for about 34,000 spectators. The club colors are red and white and they are usually called The Boro. The club has over the years had different versions of its club brand but has for a long time been characterized by a raging lion.
One of the club's most romantic periods was under coach and former national team player Bryan Robson, who created a successful team in the 1990s with players such as Brazilian Juninho and Italian Fabrizio Ravanelli. During that period, the club reached three cup finals, which unfortunately all ended in losses.
